Location: Praticamente remoto. Hybrid model for occasional client meetings or events.

Client: An international large‑scale retail client with complex integration and systems architecture projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend in Java and Micronaut.
• Manage builds with Gradle.
• Develop REST APIs following Open
  API / Async
  API standards.
• Integrate with Shopify and other external systems.
• Ensure quality through tests, best practices, and code reviews.
• Contribute to architecture, patterns, and reusable components (e. g. , Catalogue Validator).
• Mentor other developers and support critical deliveries.

Mandatory Requirements

• Solid experience in backend development with Java.
• Experience with Micronaut, Gradle, and REST.
• Experience with Kafka.
• Knowledge in API Design & Integration (Open
  API / Async
  API).
• Experience with Domain‑Driven Design and event‑driven architecture.
• Focus on testing, quality, and delivering reliable software.
• Previous experience integrating with Shopify.
