Job Description

The Power Tools Division of the Bosch Group is the world market leader for power tools and power tool accessories. The Global Digital Unit is efficiently bundling digital activities across all Business Units of Bosch Power Tools.

Your contribution to something big:

• You will be part of an interdisciplinary team creating an Io
  T focused App and the Cloud components for a platform;
• You will be responsible for the development and operations of a microservice that mobile and web apps will use;
• You will implement suitable messaging, storage mechanisms, and related items (data models, database choice and topologies, scaling foundation, etc. );
• Automate the deployment and operations of cloud infrastructure (Azure, Azure Dev
  Ops) by utilizing Infrastructure-as-Code.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

• At least 3 years of experience with Java and Spring
  Boot, ideally also Kotlin or other modern languages;
• Professional experience in Agile software development & operations (Dev
  Ops mindset);
• Experience with SQL and
  - SQL databases as well as messaging technologies (ideally Kafka);
• You love Cloud, Io
  T, and CI CD technologies and are familiar with Azure or AWS;
• Cloud automation (Pulumi or Terraform) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus;
• Fluent in English, both written and oral;
• Willingness to travel and work as a part of an international team (for short periods, as required);
• And most important: have fun working with wonderful people on a diverse team.
