We are currently seeking a Java Developer – All Genders – Fluent in English – Lisbon or Porto.

BE PART OF OUR DYNAMIC SDE TEAM

This team, created in 2023, works for Cardif DSI France and DSI Fonctions. The main goal is to develop and maintain solutions, applications, APIs, etc. , across different business areas, following BNP Paribas Group's technological policies.

YOUR FUTURE ROLE IN THE SDE TEAM

Within BNP Paribas Cardif's IT Department, you will join the IT Finance Tribe, responsible for projects and application maintenance mainly for Finance Business Lines. You will work in an Agile environment, collaborating with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and other squad members.

Main Responsibilities

• Monitor and resolve production incidents, assist, and develop with partners
• Validate the quality of deliverables from partners
• Manage production anomalies
• Maintain
  - production environments
• Participate in technical design and development monitoring
• Contribute to preventive maintenance and application solution choices
• Monitor project phases within the squad
• Participate in Agile ceremonies
• Provide technical support to platform integrators and operators
• Produce comprehensive documentation
• Contribute to functional and technical specifications following internal guidelines
• Address security and cybersecurity challenges
• Share ideas and challenge the team

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technology or related field
• 4+ years experience in Java/Spring Web Applications
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
• Knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS/SSL/TLS protocols
• Experience with CI tools like GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Sonar, Nexus or Artifactory
• Experience with continuous deployment tools such as Jenkins and Ansible
• Autonomous, rigorous, and committed
• Fluent in English; French is a plus
• Optional skills: Java, Tool Chain, SQL/PL SQL, Linux/Unix, Kubernetes
