Randstad is recruiting a Java Developer for Mobility Business, for its Client, Siemens Mobility, a separately managed company of Siemens AG with 160 years of experience in transport solutions.

Siemens is operating a Software Development Center in Aveiro, Portugal, targeting Intelligent Solutions for the future of Mobility.

Responsabilidades chave

• Collaborating on software used to find and book seats for major international travel brands like Eurostar, Renfe, and SNCF.
• Optimising the processing of asynchronous requests for
  - availability,
  - performance components or to put extra effort in securing the processes as much as possible.
• Improving development pipelines or helping analyse new feature requests.
• Continuously refactoring code to improve its quality and performance.

Competências

• Experience with Java microservice.
• Passionate about refactoring code and making it shine.
• Enjoy working in a team that welcomes new perspectives and is eager to hear your ideas.
• Interested in thinking about learning a new programming language or technology.
• Familiar with the use of generative AI tools (e. g. Chat
  GPT, Copilot, Gemini), capable of applying these technologies to increase efficiency, support data analysis, and improve the quality of deliverables in R&D and project contexts.
• Proficient in English and strong communication skills.
