The Role: Java Developer (Java & AWS engineering team)

? Location: Lisbon

? ? Work Model: 4 days in the office (in the 1st quarter), then is 3 days a week onsite

? ? Sector: Financial Services

? Languages: English (B2 - C1)

? Recruitment Process:

• ⏱ Initial interview (~40 minutes)
• ? Two
  - depth interview sessions (~3 hours each)

✅ Eligibility: Currently living in Portugal and be legally authorized to work there

? ? Your Profile

• Senior Professional with strong backend development experience with Java (21) and Spring / Spring Boot
• Solid expertise with Spring Data, Hibernate, and relational databases
• Hands-on experience building and deploying solutions in AWS environments
• Comfortable working with Python for automation and integration tasks
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and secure coding practices
• Agile mindset,
  - oriented, curious, and eager to keep learning

⚙ What You Will Be Doing (Concrete responsibilities)

Backend Development

- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot

- Build secure, scalable, and
- performance solutions aligned with architectural best practices

- Integrate and optimize data access with Oracle and Postgre
SQL-based databases

Cloud & Dev
Ops

- Deploy and operate applications on AWS using managed and serverless services

- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform

- Contribute to the setup and improvement of CI/CD pipelines
