Portuguese company hires for hybrid work

Location:Lisbon

Work model:Hybrid (2/3 days at the client office)

We are seeking a developer with strong expertise in Java (J2EE) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have
- on experience building and maintaining
- level applications.

What You Will Do

Develop new features for critical systems.
Apply best practices in code quality, testing, and architecture.
Integrate with databases, messaging systems, and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

Design and implement new features and functionalities.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues and bugs.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
Collaborate with
- functional teams to ensure timely and
- conscious project delivery.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Must-Have Qualifications

Educational background in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in Java development, primarily with Java EE specifications, including:
JSF
EJB
JMS
Hibernate
Experience with frontend development using Prime
Faces.
Solid understanding of unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).
Proficient in SQL, preferably with Oracle 10.
Experience working with web services, especially SOAP.
Fluent in Portuguese.
