Role

Java EE Lead Developer at Capgemini Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers.
• Maintain and develop a system.
• Design and implement new features and functionalities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and defects.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to team members.

Qualifications (Must Have)

• Higher education or attendance in computer engineering, management information technology, data science and statistics, mathematics, computer science or similar.
• Excellent soft skills.
• Minimum of 6 years in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or technical lead role.
• Experience with Java development, mainly with Java EE specification modules: JSF, EJB, JMS, Hibernate, Primefaces.
• Fluent in Portuguese.

Nice to Have

• Minimum 3 years in Agile.
• Application servers knowledge, mainly JBoss EAP.
• Unit tests (Junit, Mockito).
• SQL knowledge (Oracle 10).
• Web services knowledge, mainly SOAP.
