We are looking for a Java /. Net Tech Lead to join our Client's team on a hybrid working model from Lisbon or Porto.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance in fullstack development across software projects
• Offer technical direction and mentorship to development teams, promoting innovation and continuous improvement
• Collaborate to define project requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Design and implement scalable solutions using cloud providers such as Azure, and potentially
  - premises environments using technologies like Kubernetes
• Oversee the development of microservices and web applications using Java, . NET, Node. js, React, Angular, and other relevant technologies
• Define processes and lead Dev
  Ops teams in the implementation and management of CI/CD pipelines, integrating Dev
  Sec
  Ops practices for secure and efficient deployments
• Develop and maintain Kubernetes-based infrastructures, ensuring high availability and strong application performance
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior team members to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending improvements to enhance system architecture and development processes
• Collaborate with
  - functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software solutions with existing systems

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with proven experience as a Tech Lead or in a similar role
• Strong background in software development and architecture
• Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Java and. NET
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, or similar technologies
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Dev
  Ops practices
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices
• Excellent
  - solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to
  - technical stakeholders
• Fluency in Portuguese and English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservices architecture and
  - driven systems
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, ELK, and Grafana
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks and security best practices in software development
• Experience with technologies such as Kafka, Mongo
  DB, Docker, Swagger, Elasticsearch, CI pipelines, Web
  Sockets, and Server-Sent Events

Soft Skills

• Experience with Scrum
• Ability to support and mentor junior team members
• Experience managing multifaceted development teams
• Proactive communication and collaboration mindset
