We are looking for a Java Senior Developer for a project in Lisbon (hybrid model).

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based applications on cloud platforms

• Collaborate with
- functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements

• Develop
- quality, scalable, and secure software applications using Java, Spring, and other relevant technologies

• Participate in code reviews and ensure that the codebase is maintainable, efficient, and adheres to industry standards

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and collaborate with other engineers to resolve complex problems

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, user manuals, and release notes

• Stay
-
- date with the latest trends and technologies in Java, cloud computing, and software development

• Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily
- ups, and retrospectives

• Collaborate with Dev
Ops team to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor or master’s in engineering, Computer Science, Management, or related fields;

More than 5 years of experience in Java (Java 17), including Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Java EE, and microservices architecture

Experience with cloud environments, Docker, Kubernetes,
- native services, and Postgre
SQL

Strong background in CI/CD, Dev
Ops tools (Git
Lab CI, Argo CD, Jenkins), Linux, scripting, and automation

Solid knowledge of REST APIs, security best practices, and modern software development standards

Experience or knowledge of Event driven architecture using kafka, Angular, Java
Script/Type
Script, ELK strack, Mongo
DB, Camunda, Pyhton or BDD / Cucumber / Gherkin (is a plus);

Fluency in English (mandatory) and in French (is a plus)
