Java Software Engineer - Setúbal

We are looking for a Java Developer to join our Client's team on a hybrid working model from Lisbon.

You will work as part of a 12-person team , contributing to the transformation of the IS Azqore.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop Java-based applications according to client requirements.
Develop and implement REST APIs using frameworks like Spring.
Collaborate with clients to understand business needs and deliver solutions tailored to their requirements.
Ensure application architecture and design adhere to quality standards.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively in a timely manner.
Work with
- functional teams to deliver impactful,
- quality solutions.

Required Qualifications:

Experience: At least 2–3 years in
- stack design and development.
Proficiency in Core Java, OOPs concepts, Spring Boot, collections, multithreading, and Microservices.
Familiarity with Java frameworks like Spring, JPA, and Hibernate.
Understanding of REST interfaces and API documentation (Swagger).
Experience with tools like Maven, Git, VS Code, Sonar, and Veracode.
Hands-on knowledge of continuous integration environments such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes/Open
Shift.
