Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance, and optimization of software solutions/applications.

1. Applies scientific methods to analyze and solve software engineering problems.
2. Is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practices and knowledge in research, design, development, and maintenance.
3. Requires exercise of original thought and judgment, and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.
4. Builds skills and expertise in the software engineering discipline to meet standard role expectations as defined in Professional Communities.
5. Collaborates and acts as a team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a Java Tech Lead with knowledge in Java EE to join our team in Lisbon for an impactful project with a client in the Healthcare sector.

YOUR PROFILE

• BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field;
• 8+ years of experience in Software Development;
• Proven experience in a similar role;
• Experience in Java development, mainly with Java EE specifications (JSF, EJB, JMS, Hibernate);
• Practical experience in unit testing (using JUnit or Mockito);
• SQL knowledge;
• Web services knowledge, mainly SOAP;
• Fluency in Portuguese.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Agile methodologies;
• Application Servers knowledge, mainly Jboss EAP;
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, Sonar, and Maven.
