Job Offer: Postdoctoral Position in Behaviour Sciences or Similar

The University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD) announces a call for one (1) Research Grant for Ph
D students in Behaviour Sciences or a related field. This opportunity is within the framework of the R&D unit Center for Transdisciplinary Studies for Development, funded by UIDP/04011/2020.

We offer a 28-month postdoctoral position focused on developing the DATA4LOWDENSity COLab, a smart living lab dedicated to
- creating
- based territorial intelligence to support
- density territories’ smart sustainable transitions.

Admission requirements:

The candidate must hold a Ph
D degree (completed within the last five years) in Behaviour Sciences or a related field. Demonstrable skills in designing and estimating behaviour and
- making models through
- scale data collection or mobilisation are required, particularly concerning individual intentions and willingness towards sustainable choices.

Key responsibilities and main tasks:

The postdoctoral researcher will lead data collection and analysis efforts to support the
- creation of
- based territorial intelligence, including:

1. Mapping
   - trends of food consumers and tourists relevant to
   - density territories;
2. Identifying key variables and their interactions to understand citizens, managers, politicians, and other stakeholders’ perceptions of fair green and digital transitions, and how their behaviour influences these processes.
