We are currently looking for a Junior Accountant – All Genders – English Proficient - Oporto – Hybrid.

Your Future Mission in the Finance Team

• Contribute to a correct preparation, qualitative and on time of the entity in Portugal according to the group regulation and the regulator, with all documental support in each closing.
• Ensure the booking in the accounting system of any current cost (namely invoices) by inserting in the system, to analyze gaps with budget and help prepare necessary reports and justifications.
• Contribute towards the preparation of fiscal declarations as requested by the regulator (e. g. , VAT, COPE, Corporate tax, Fiscal file, Transfer prices).
• Prepare all required reports and clarify questions regarding your function with Head Office and clients, always under supervisor of your manager.
• Contribute towards the preparation of KPIs/reports,
  - up tools, and profitability analysis to support management and the strategic plan.

As Our Junior Accountant, You Must Have

• Degree in Accounting / Auditing
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar position (experience in an accounting office would be a bonus, but not mandatory).
• Full professional proficiency in English and Portuguese – written and verbal communication. Fluency in French would be a plus.
• Strong MS Excel skills
