In light of our growth, we aim to strengthen our Shared Services Center team and further develop the accounting function. The Junior Accountant will be a key team member playing a critical role in this objective.

Responsibilities will include, among others:

• Support Procure to Pay process: receiving and processing invoices, ensuring communication with all stakeholders
• Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
• Support review and proper classification of cost centers and accounts on POs
• Assist managers and peers with daily activities
• Perform ad hoc Accounts Payable and Procurement duties as required
• Collaborate with local finance specialists on accounting, tax, and annual reports to ensure compliance with local legislation

Requirements:

• High school diploma or degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business
• Strong interest in Accounting
• Approximately 2 years of professional experience in accounting within an international environment
• Fluent in written and spoken English (minimum C1); knowledge of French, Swedish, or Portuguese is a plus
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Ability to work in a
  - paced international environment
• Highly motivated with good prioritization skills
• Methodical and
  - oriented
• Experience with IT systems (prior Oracle ERP experience valued)
• Organized, with a desire to improve existing processes
• Enthusiastic, energetic, and positive team player

The position is based in Lisbon, Portugal.

This role reports directly to the P2P Manager in Lisbon.
