Junior Accountant - P2P Team

Job Overview

Talent Acquisition Partner @ Thales Portugal – Junior Accountant (P2P). Location: Paco De Arcos - Q45, Portugal. The role supports finance and accounting processes within Thales' P2P team, focusing on supplier and payment management.

Thales Portugal is a Competence Centre of the Thales Group, with around 220 specialized human resources dedicated to designing, developing, and deploying systems and services in Defence, Security, and Transportation markets.

Responsibilities

• Record and update supplier master database and bank details
• Create purchase orders and follow up on goods receipt
• Receive and process invoices, perform 3‑way match, and follow up on approvals
• Manage all approved payments, including urgent and manual payments
• Reconcile supplier statements, identify transactional issues, and audit T&E reports

Qualifications

• Academic background in Finance, Economics, or related fields
• Experience in the financial area (desirable)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Knowledge of English (continuous language support provided)
