Junior Accountant
Overview
We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team in Lisbon at 100%.
As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for carrying out the following tasks:
Responsibilities
- Post and process accounts payable, perform reconciliations and ensure that all transactions are timely recorded and paid.
- Maintain the accuracy and completeness of the company’s procurement tool.
- Manage daily bookkeeping of bank transactions and perform reconciliations.
- Review expenses, check compliance with company policy and post them.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly and
- end closing processes. - Support the internal control processes.
- Care for the efficiency, accuracy and timelines of all tasks.
- Engage in close cooperation with senior finance managers.
- Full engagement into the process of learning and adaptation.
- Support team members in daily work.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of general accounting experience in an international environment.
- Fluent in English.
- Additional proficiency in French or German skills are considered an asset.
- Good understanding of IFRS.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a strong asset.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Accurate and
- oriented - Proactive and able to perform well under pressure
- Analytical thinker with
- solving skills - Motivated to develop professional experience in an international corporate environment.
