Overview

Labatec Pharma SA is hiring a Junior Accountant to join the Finance team. The role is based in Sintra and reports to the Group Accounting Manager based in Switzerland. We are looking for a dynamic and motivated person who can support our growth ambitions and add knowledge, competence, and team spirit.

Your key responsibilities

• Ensure proper document management, namely reception, classification, posting and validation of accounting invoices and payments.
• Perform accounting transactions in the general ledger in accordance with statutory and Group policies.
• Perform reconciliation of customer and vendor current accounts, as well as reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
• Keep accounting control documents organized and following policies and procedures and complying with financial legal requirements.
• Create and maintain Masterdata suppliers according to the Group policies.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
• Assist in month/year-end closing activities.
• Ad hoc projects.

We are looking for

• Degree in Accounting, Business Management, Economics, or related areas.
• Minimum 1 year experience in accounting services or related industry
• Solid Accounting knowledge
• Experience with SAGE X3 is a plus
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English in a business setting
• Attention to detail
• Problem solving mindset and analytical skills
