We are looking for a motivated and
- oriented Junior Accountant to join our Finance team in Portugal. The successful candidate will support the daily accounting operations and assist in ensuring accurate financial records in accordance with Portuguese GAAP (SNC). The successful candidate must have experience with Primavera ERP and knowledge of Portuguese accounting practices and tax legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Reporting

• Record and process supplier invoices in accordance with company policies
• Assist with the preparation of journal entries, accruals and reconciliations.
• Assist with account reconciliations and analysis of account balances.
• Support the
  - end and
  - end closing process.
• Help maintain the general ledger and ensure data accuracy.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting schedules.
• Provide documentation and support for audits.
• Support with the preparation and filling of tax returns.

ERP & Systems

• Enter and maintain accounting data in Primavera ERP (Version 10).
• Support the accuracy of master data and documentation.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Up to 4 years of professional experience in accounting or finance.
• Knowledge of Portuguese accounting (SNC) and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills in Portuguese and English (spoken and written).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with ERP systems (e. g. , Primavera).
• Previous internship or experience in a finance/accounting role.
• Experience in a multinational or international environment is a plus.
