We’re looking for a Junior AI Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team of Full Stack Developers and AI Engineers and help build and evolve LLM-based solutions for telecom support platforms. These solutions focus on areas such as automatic ticket summarization, text correction and enrichment, and intelligent workflow assistance, leveraging Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and LLM
- calling / MCP-based integrations.

What You’ll Do

• Support the design and implementation of AI solutions based on Large Language Models (LLMs)

• Develop and test features for text summarization, classification, correction, and enrichment

• Assist in building and improving RAG pipelines, including document retrieval and contextual grounding

• Support the integration of MCP Server tools and protocols to enable LLMs to interact with internal services and workflows

• Assist in prompt engineering, tool definition, and iterative refinement of AI outputs

• Collaborate closely with Full Stack Developers to integrate AI capabilities into backend services and applications

• Help monitor model behaviour, output quality, latency, and cost in real use cases

• Contribute to documentation, experimentation, and internal knowledge sharing

• Learn and apply best practices related to reliability, security, and responsible AI usage

What You’ll Need

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent

• Basic to intermediate programming skills in Python and/or Java

• Interest or initial
- on experience with LLMs (e. g. Open
AI, Azure Open
AI, Anthropic, or similar)

• Basic understanding of RAG concepts (retrieval, embeddings, context injection)

• Familiarity with APIs and
- oriented architectures

• Interest in LLM tool usage, function calling, or MCP Server-style integrations

• Pragmatic approach to
- solving

• Good English spoken and written

• Fluent in Portuguese

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• A proactive mindset with a focus on learning and continuous improvement

• Ability to work independently while enjoying teamwork and collaboration

Nice to Have

• Academic or personal projects involving RAG architectures or LLM tool calling

• Exposure to MCP Server tools, protocols, or
- based workflows

• Experience with cloud-based AI and large language model platforms

• Basic knowledge of vector databases (e. g. semantic search, embeddings)

• Interest in AI evaluation, observability, or MLOps fundamentals

• Curiosity about applying AI to
- world business and operational workflows
