Overview

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Consulting Support team at Mercer. This role will be based in Lisbon. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office.

Responsibilities

• Support the lead consultant in identifying and addressing client needs, solving and replying to client queries, drafting communications, among other more technical and complex requests.
• Maintain constant communication with a diverse range of colleagues, from junior analysts to senior consultants at Mercer.
• Engage in data and risk analysis.
• Produce reports.
• Collaborate with client and project teams.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects to high standards.

Qualifications

• A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, Management, Economics, or a related field.
• Ability to work effectively across different cultures.
• Strong
  - building skills with colleagues.
• Capacity to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a demanding work environment.
• Strong
  - solving skills with the ability to identify and propose solutions.
• Aptitude for meticulous work and attention to detail.
• Intermediate to advanced (B2 or C level) proficiency in English.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and assertively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power
  Point.

Desirable

• Knowledge of actuarial and UK pensions concepts.
• A proactive approach to professional development and staying updated with industry trends.
