Job requirements
As a result of the growth of our Portugal team, Aptia has exciting new opportunities for Junior Analysts to join the Specialist Operations Team in Portugal, working across Pension Fund Accounting and Pension Payroll teams.
In these roles, you will play a key part in supporting the work of the team to prepare accurate accounting and payroll information for allocated pension schemes, alongside the close support of your supervisor.
You will receive full training on all aspects of Pension Fund Accounting and Pension Payroll function as relevant to your role.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Preparation of accounting and/or payroll data for allocated pension schemes
- Adherence to business procedural requirements including time recording
- Use of standardised templates to present required data and reporting
- Adherence to set deadlines for payroll and month end as relevant
- Updating documentation using various
- filing systems - Producing work in progress reports as required by the team
If this sounds like your ideal next role, here is what we’re looking for:
- Strong numerical ability – comfortable working with numbers and data
- Accounting and/or Payroll qualifications preferred but not essential
- Good level of written and spoken English
- Good computer literacy, including MS Office
- Good customer service skills, able to communicate effectively and with empathy
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work positively as part of a wider team
