Ideal Candidate

• Have a genuine interest in aquatics, animal care, or marine life or have a specific passion for corals
• Bring enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic
• Are eager to learn and grow in marine livestock husbandry
• Deliver excellent customer service with professionalism
• Bonus: Speak another European language — especially German — which would be a real advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the care, feeding, and acclimatisation of marine livestock
• Support maintenance of fish house systems and equipment
• Keep tanks and facilities clean and safe for aquatic residents
• Prepare and pack livestock for deliveries while providing top‑notch customer service
• Participate in weekend feedings on a rotational basis
• Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and welfare at all times

Skills and Attributes Needed

• Initiative,
  - solving, and adaptability
• Ability to work effectively under deadlines while maintaining livestock welfare standards
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous aquatic or animal care experience is a plus, but not essential
• Flexibility, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude

Hours of Work

Be prepared for early starts, late finishes, and weekend shifts on a rotational basis.

• Hours: 40 hours per week, with flexibility required
• Shifts: Evening and weekend work on a rolling rota
• Start: Immediate start available for the right candidate
