Role Description
We are looking for a Junior Career Advisor to join our Career Services team, and that will contribute to the professional development and employability of Porto Business School students by supporting the Career Services area in career guidance activities, management of professional development programmes, and engagement with companies and students, ensuring a personalised support experience aligned with both individual and institutional goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of Career Services activities such as workshops, mentoring sessions, networking events, career fairs, and career advising initiatives.
- Assist students in developing their individual career plans, supporting goal setting, CV review, and interview preparation.
- Collaborate in the management of career development programmes and employability initiatives.
- Collect and analyse data on employability, internships and career outcomes of students and young alumni.
- Contribute to maintaining and updating career databases and digital platforms.
- Support the relationship with partner companies, recruiters and mentors, and assist in organising recruitment and networking events.
- Contribute to the communication of Career Services activities and results, ensuring consistency and quality of materials.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Management or related areas.
- Up to 5 years of experience, preferably in career guidance, recruitment or talent development.
- Knowledge of career management, professional development and employability practices.
- Analytical skills and ability to produce reports.
- Proficiency in digital communication tools and career management platforms.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Power
Point, Word). - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with empathy and client orientation.
- Organised,
- oriented, proactive and eager to learn. - Fluency in Portuguese and English (spoken and written).
- Motivation to work in an international and dynamic academic environment.
