About the Opportunity

You will support the Civil and Structural design team across all phases of multiple projects — from concept design to commissioning — under the guidance of senior engineers.

Your role will involve assisting with project planning, scheduling, resource tracking, cost monitoring, and quality control. You’ll also help ensure that safety procedures and standards are followed
- site.

Rather than leading projects, your focus will be on learning through
- on involvement, supporting the smooth coordination and execution of construction activities, and contributing to technical discussions, always with supervision and mentoring from experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Support site engineering activities to meet contract program requirements, assisting with setting out tasks under supervision when necessary.
• Help with accurate setting out and surveying of works according to defined tolerances, always under the direction of senior staff.
• Assist in the interpretation of technical drawings and stay updated on drawing revisions, ensuring the latest versions are being followed on site.
• Follow standard company procedures in setting out operations and contribute to clear communication of technical information to site teams and subcontractors.
• Monitor the quality of work alongside the Test and Inspection Plan, and help maintain accurate
  - built records.
• Work with CAD tools and construction drawings to support engineering and planning activities.
• Collaborate with subcontractors to facilitate daily coordination and resolve
  - site queries with guidance from the senior team.
• Be an active part of the project delivery team and participate in weekly coordination meetings.
• Assist in preparing method statements, work package plans, and task briefs, gaining experience in planning and documentation.
• Help the
  - construction team during site setup by supporting the implementation of company systems and procedures.
• Apply planning tools and resource tracking methods as instructed, supporting efficient use of site resources.
• Collect and compile data on labor, materials, and equipment usage to assist with project reporting.
• Support the team in conducting ‘as-built’ surveys of completed works to ensure documentation is accurate and

  - date.
• Assist in reviewing civil and structural designs to ensure alignment with project specifications and regulatory standards
• Support quality inspections of construction materials, site works, and structural installations
• Prepare documentation for compliance audits, including drawings, calculations, and method statements
• Collaborate with senior engineers and site supervisors to monitor construction quality and resolve issues
• Participate in
  - site inspections and reporting, identifying deviations and recommending corrective actions

Skills and Experience Required

• Degree qualified (Civil Engineering)
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to plan and organize a busy workload
• Effective time management and logical

• Capacity to work effectively in pressure filled environments
• Good knowledge of English
