Job Summary

As a Junior Civil Engineer, you will work closely with senior engineers to support the design, planning, and execution of construction projects. You will collaborate with a dynamic team to ensure compliance with technical, safety, and quality standards while delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Support:

Assist in preparing technical drawings, calculations, specifications, and reports.

• Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure all project activities meet local regulations, safety standards, and company guidelines.

• Site Supervision:

Monitor
- site construction activities and report progress to senior engineers.

• Material Testing:

Conduct inspections and tests on construction materials to confirm adherence to project requirements.

• Planning Assistance:

Contribute to developing project schedules and budgets.

• Problem Solving:

Assist in identifying and addressing construction challenges.

• Collaboration:

Work alongside architects, contractors, and project managers to implement project plans effectively.

• Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of project activities, including site reports and compliance documents.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

• Education:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

• Professional Registration:

Mandatory registration with the Portuguese Order of Engineers (

Ordem dos Engenheiros

).

• Experience:

0-2 years of experience in civil engineering or construction (internship experience is also considered).

• Languages:

Fluency in Portuguese is required;

proficiency in English is mandatory.

• Technical Skills:

Proficiency in engineering design software such as Auto
CAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools.

• Knowledge:

Basic understanding of construction techniques, materials, and safety regulations.

• Teamwork:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
