Summary of role

The role is part of the Apex accounting team based in Lisbon. It acts as a support team member to the accounting team working on the client’s Portuguese companies, supporting with preparation of monthly accounting, month‑end reporting and support on the preparation of tax returns.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute accounting for several companies from the Apex client portfolio.
• Support the preparation of tax returns.
• Support the preparation of financial statements.

Required Skills

• University degree in accounting or finance.
• 1 to 2 years of accounting experience with significant exposure to Portuguese tax compliance and Portuguese GAAP.
• Fluent English (written & conversational).
• Good Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong communication, influence and interpersonal skills.
• Organised and accurate working methodology.
