JUNIOR CUSTOMS CLERK (TÉCNICO ADUANEIRO JUNIOR) Lisboa

Your Role

Our customs team based in Lisbon – Portugal has an opportunity for a customer‑centric Customs Clerk where you will support customs clearances for air, ocean and road freight customers.

What you will do

• Report into the Customs Team Leader and work across a diverse team to ensure all customs clearance procedures are actioned on goods entering and exiting.
• Use systems such as Cargowise and Gidwin to claim documents and process them with high attention to detail and accuracy to prevent errors or oversights.
• Regularly communicate and engage with internal and external stakeholders, building and maintaining first‑class relationships and supporting at each stage of the process.

What we are looking for

• Complete secondary education.
• At least 3 years of proven customs clearance or imports/export experience and knowledge.
• Desirable: previous experience working within a freight forwarding operation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to build strong customer relationships.
• Previous experience with GIDWIN.
• Natural problem‑solving skills.
• Great attention to detail, strong organization and ability to meet deadlines.
• Team player.
