Role: Junior Data Engineer

Location: Hybrid, Lisbon - Portugal

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and data scientists to ensure data quality and availability.
• Support data integration, transformation, and modeling for analyses and dashboards.
• Monitor, optimize, and continuously improve data processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in related roles (ETL, BI, Data Analyst with a technical focus).
• Knowledge of SQL (queries, modeling, and optimization).
• Experience with a cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT and data integration tools (e. g. , Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Airflow, DBT, or similar).
• Basic knowledge of Python or another programming language for data manipulation.
• Experience collaborating with engineers, analysts, and data scientists to ensure information quality and availability.
