Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications to meet business needs.
• Collaborate closely with senior developers, testers, and business stakeholders to understand technical requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and
  - documented code following best practices and internal guidelines.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging activities to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Support the integration of 3rd party systems, APIs, and tools within the IT infrastructure.
• Contribute to technical documentation and user manuals for new or updated systems and features.
• Maintain awareness of emerging software development trends and technologies.
• Carry out other tasks as directed by the IT leadership to support project delivery and business goals.

Essential Technical Skills

• Basic understanding of programming languages (such as Java, C#, Python, or Java
  Script).
• Familiarity with software development concepts, version control (e. g. , Git), and debugging tools.
• Strong willingness to learn new programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
• Good analytical, logical reasoning, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and follow instructions precisely.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in both Portuguese (fluent or native) and English (intermediate or higher).

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field (completed or near completion).
• Some experience with software development projects, through academic work, internships, or personal/volunteer initiatives.
• Knowledge of databases, web technologies, or cloud platforms is advantageous.
• Certifications or training in software development (desirable but not required).
