Working Place: Sonae Sierra's Central Offices in Lisbon.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in real estate development, project management, design, or construction management.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills, being able to identify issues, propose solutions and implement improvements.
- Foundational understanding of design, planning, and construction processes.
- Ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities and ambiguity.
- Geographical flexibility to assume projects across the country.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
- Familiarity with design and project management software (e. g. , BIM software, MS Project, etc. ).
Responsibilities:
- Project Management, Planning and Support.
- Assist in preparing project briefs, feasibility analyses and business cases.
- Support the procurement and appointment of consultants, contractors and specialist advisors.
- Follow up and update project schedules, milestones and critical path actions.
- Support the preparation of documentation for decision making.
- Design and Technical Coordination.
- Support design coordination meetings and track consultant deliverables.
- Liaise with internal teams and third parties to ensure technical alignment and design compliance.
- Help prepare drawings, specifications and reports for consistency and clarity.
- Assist in managing design changes and tracking design‑related risks.
- Financial and Administrative Support.
- Assist with budgeting, cost tracking and financial reporting.
- Maintain project documentation, meeting minutes and dashboards.
- Monitor invoice approvals, change orders and financial reconciliations.
- Stakeholder and Communication.
- Coordinate inputs across internal departments, external consultants and contractors.
- Prepare presentation materials and reports for internal management and external stakeholders.
- Support early engagement activities, including community, tenant or investor presentations when applicable.
- Delivery and Handover Support.
- Help monitor site progress and report key issues or risks to project leaders.
- Support the completion and handover of projects, including snagging, certification and documentation.
- Assist in post‑completion evaluations and lessons‑learned exercises.
- Support the integration of digital tools for construction monitoring and reporting.
