Overview

Company Description: N10GLED is a startup at the forefront of developing
- edge quantum communication technologies. Our mission is to revolutionize secure communications through the development of Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) systems for both space and ground segments. Location: Pinhal Novo, Évora or Vendas Novas, Portugal (Hybrid
- person model).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of engineering projects, including schematic design and PCBs for the development of a quantum key distribution system architecture. System definition and hardware requirements.
• Support electronic / microelectronic control development. Signal acquisition via microcontrollers and/or FPGAs (Optional), optoelectronics and motor control.
• Basic knowledge of embedded systems (e. g. , STM32 ARM microcontrollers).
• Basic knowledge of Firmware development for STM microcontrollers is desirable but not mandatory.
• State-of-the-art survey and component selection.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary engineering team in solving technical problems.
• Perform assemblies and tests, breadboarding and prototyping.
• Monitor project implementation, ensuring compliance with deadlines and budgets.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and advances in Electronics Engineering.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of CAD tools such as Altium, Fusion 360, or Ki
  Cad for schematic design or PCB layout (at least one).
• (Optional) Basic knowledge of STM32Cube
  IDE.
• Ability and interest in solving complex problems.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including English language.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
