We’re looking for a Junior Field Test Engineer ready to roll up their sleeves and dive into 5G, device validation, and network testing. This is a great fit for recent graduates or junior professionals looking to get serious about mobile tech.

Location: Lisbon (Hybrid – 2 days/week
- site)

Travel: Frequent travel to Madrid (around 80%)

Industry: Telecommunications

What You’ll Do

– Field testing of smartphones and wireless devices (2G/3G/4G/5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth)

– Log and analyze network KPIs: call drops, throughput, handovers

– Troubleshoot with R&D and QA teams

– Perform software/firmware updates on test devices

– Follow test plans, report issues, and document everything clearly

What You Need (must-haves)

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecom, Electronics, Computer Science, or similar
• Basic knowledge of mobile networks (GSM, LTE, 5G NR, IMS)
• Familiarity with Android, wearables, FWA, Mi
  Fi
• Experience (even academic) with tools like QXDM, ELT, LOGEL
• Strong troubleshooting & documentation skills
• Fluency in English and Spanish
• Willing and flexible to travel frequently to Madrid
  
  

• Internship or academic projects in mobile testing or RF/network optimization
• Knowledge of scripting or data analysis tools
