We’re hiring: Junior Fraud Analyst
Lisboa | Hybrid model
What you’ll do:
Analyze alerts of suspicious transactions, including card payments and bank account data;
Investigate potentially fraudulent behavior or signs of money laundering;
Prepare analysis reports in compliance with internal and regulatory requirements;
Ensure proper registration and forwarding of analyzed cases within defined deadlines;
Collaborate with internal teams (fraud, AML, onboarding) to provide context and improve detection.
✅ What we’re looking for:
Basic understanding of banking operations and financial products;
Knowledge of fraud typologies and
- money laundering (AML) practices;
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML directives;
Analytical and critical thinking skills to identify unusual patterns and anomalies;
Experience with fraud monitoring tools or transaction monitoring systems (e. g. , SAS, Actimize, or similar);
Ability to write clear and concise reports;
Communication skills to interact with internal stakeholders and escalate cases appropriately;
Fluency in Portuguese and English;
Attention to detail and high sense of responsibility;
Previous experience or internship in compliance, fraud analysis, or financial crime prevention is a plus.
