As a Junior Software Developer, you will play a key role in the delivery of complex technical systems of varying sizes to new and existing customers and will be part of discovering new technologies within the Fin
Tech industry. We are now looking for a Junior Java Engineer to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal.

What will you be doing?

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a strong experienced team delivering complex technology solutions to international clients. You will work with and learn from subject matter experts, and have the opportunity to take on more responsibility and progress within the development team.

Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, test, fix, and maintain enterprise software applications for a suite of products within Nasdaq Axiom
  SL Controller View Platform.
• Work closely in collaboration with other software developers, software architects, and product owners to address complex problems.
• Participate in technical design reviews, functional specification reviews, develop project estimates, schedules, test plans, and code reviews.
• Proactively identify and resolve potential problems/issues including authoring of technical specifications.
• Conduct performance testing, review results, identify bottlenecks, and profile code.

What are we expecting?

• Minimum 1 year of experience in commercial software with experience leveraging Java for business domain logic.
• Knowledge of Java and experience from
  - oriented analysis, design, and development skills, including
  - driven development (TDD).
• Experience with profiling and performance enhancement of distributed and
  - threaded systems.
• Working knowledge of relational databases, including RDBMS setup and tuning experience.

This is a
- time permanent position located in Lisbon, Portugal. The company allows the flexibility to work half a week
