We are looking for a Junior LAN Network Engineer (French Speaker) (local contract) to join our BPCE IT business Unit.

Founded in 2015, BPCE Infogérance & Technologies is a subsidiary of Groupe BPCE, specializing in Infrastructures, End-User Environment, Security, and Production. We offer a dynamic workplace with a broad tech stack, fostering growth, expertise, and agility.

Scope:

Administration of Groupe BPCE campuses.

Responsibilities include:

• Management of approximately 200 campus sites with over 5, 000 devices.
• LAN infrastructure management, incident resolution, project participation, and network management across BPCE campuses.
• Providing technical expertise, advising on network solutions, maintaining operational network conditions, and keeping up with technological advancements.
• Managing around 300 buildings worldwide, including 50 international locations, with about 4, 000 network devices.
• Performing monitoring, build, automation tasks, incident handling, network deployment, and scripting (Python, REST API, Ansible).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert advice, assistance, training, and alerts on network infrastructure.
• Monitor technology and participate in infrastructure studies and evolution.
• Install, configure, and coordinate technical platforms and stakeholders.
• Ensure system functionality, incident correction, and infrastructure maintenance.
• Design infrastructure solutions, improve system performance, and define network protocols and standards.
• Automate network management tasks using Dev
  Ops tools.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• Switching (Layer 2) and routing (Layer 3).
• Network protocols:
  
  IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF.
• Experience with Cisco, Arista, Aruba, Huawei, HP Procurve/Converged.
• Network monitoring tools (e. G. , Centreon).
• Knowledge of Dev
  Ops tools (Python, Ansible).
• Understanding of Network Access Control principles.

Other Requirements:

• English and French proficiency (B2 level).
• Good stress management and project management skills.
• Availability for
  - call duties, rotational
  - site support every 6-8 weeks, and travel within Europe, mainly France.
