We are hiring a Junior Project Manager

Our mission is to streamline and accelerate the adoption of open source across the global enterprise technology market. Our Project Managers are responsible for ensuring project success by owning, driving, communicating, and engaging all stakeholders with integrity and accountability. Given the complexity and evolving nature of our projects, exceptional Project Managers are key to customer and partner satisfaction.

Role Responsibilities

1. Ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, budget, and resources
2. Identifying and mitigating technical and project risks and issues
3. Maintaining strong customer focus and collaborating with stakeholders for successful outcomes
4. Conducting regular status meetings and business reviews with customers
5. Supporting the delivery schedule of
   - party deliverables
6. Advocating appropriate technologies from Canonical's portfolio to customers

Candidate Requirements

• Strong academic background in science, software engineering, or information technology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Solution-oriented mindset with leadership experience in academic or extracurricular activities
• Passion for technology demonstrated through personal projects
• Professional approach, negotiation skills, and ability to 'make things happen'
• Curiosity, flexibility, accountability, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel internationally twice a year for up to two weeks
