- Proven track record delivering greenfield mechanical projects within Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Hydrogen, or Advanced Manufacturing environments.
- Experience working across FEED, EPC, and
- up phases, ideally for both Owner and EPC organisations. - Strong background in mechanical systems, pressure equipment, piping, HVAC, or
- room environments. - Ability to lead
- disciplinary teams and manage subcontractor performance across complex interfaces. - Deep understanding of international codes, modular construction practices, and system handover processes.
- Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering; fluent English essential, Portuguese advantageous.

The Role:Our Client is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for an Mechanical Project Manager to join our team in Portugal.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering the full mechanical scope of works across the project, ensuring all activities are executed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. This includes overseeing mechanical installation, coordinating with internal teams and subcontractors, managing budgets and schedules, and maintaining strong communication with clients and project stakeholders throughout all phases of delivery.

- Minimum of 10 years’ experience managing
- scale mechanical projects, including commercial offices, retail developments, hotels, schools, or data centres. - Prior experience on data centre projects is highly desirable.
- Trade or engineering qualification preferred, with recent experience overseeing major electrical contracts.
- Proven track record in mechanical project management, with strong capabilities in controlling scope, schedule, and budget.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage
- scale installation projects, ideally within data centre delivery or similarly complex mechanical environments. - Strong technical knowledge of mechanical design and build systems.
- In-depth understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, and associated services.
