About the role

Our Lisbon based QA team is looking for an addition to the team. In this role, you’ll work closely with our UK-based Jules Operations Team, as wel as our EBASE development team, contributing to the quality and reliability of our Saa
S and Paa
S solutions through both manual and automated testing.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about quality assurance and eager to start their QA testing career. Initially, the primary responsibilities will involve manual testing, functional testing, and business requirements analysis. Other things you'll work on:

• Performmanual testingto validate the functionality, usability, and reliability of software applications.

• Execute test casesand accuratelydocument test results, identifying and reporting defects or inconsistencies.

• Work closely withdevelopers, product managers, and business analyststo ensure proper test coverage and alignment with requirements.

• Assist inpreparing test data and setting up test environmentsto support QA activities.

• Support the creation and maintenance offunctional and technical documentationrelated to testing processes and results.

• Begin contributing to theexecution of automated tests, with guidance, and help analyze results to ensure software quality.

• Use appropriate tools tolog, track, and verify defectsthrough to resolution.

• Learn and contribute to code reviews, gradually building the ability to provide feedback on
  - related code.

• Stay informed aboutindustry trends and QA best practices, especially aroundtest automation, to support your career growth.

About you

We are seeking a
- oriented and motivated Junior QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. You have a basic understanding ofJava(ability to read and follow code is a plus) and arefamiliar with thesoftware development life cycle (SDLC)and QA methodologies, includingfunctional, regression, integration, and system testing. Furthermore, you have:

• BSc/BA inComputer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Stronganalytical and
  - solving skills.

• ISTQB certification or similar QA-related certification

• Goodcommunicationandteamworkabilities.

• Proactive attitudewith the ability to work both independently and in a team.

• Comfortable communicating inEnglish, both written and spoken.

• Experience with or exposure toIT service management tools(e. g. , Jira, Service
  Now, etc. ).

• A strongwillingness to learnand grow, especially in test automation and new technologies.
• Located in Lisbon metropolitan area
