Junior QAE (Tester)

Lisbon

Hybrid:

2-3 times a week in Lisbon

Type of Contract:

Permanent Contract

Languages Required :

French (B2 minimum)

We are only considering candidates already in Portugal and that possess a valid work permit for Portugal

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) to join our testing team. In this role, you will contribute to ensuring the quality and reliability of applications in the finance and assurance sector , working closely with developers, analysts, and project managers.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a testing background who wants to grow their expertise in manual and automation testing while gaining exposure to modern tools and Agile practices.

✅ Required Skills

• Seniority :
  
  2 - 3 years of experience in manual and automation testing
• Strong attention to detail, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Familiarity with at least some of the tools listed below:
  
  

Test Management & Collaboration:

Jira, Confluence, ALM, Xray / Quality Center

Testing Frameworks & Languages:

Cucumber, Gherkin

Methodologies:

Agile, V-Model (Cycle en V), MBT (Model-Based Testing)

Technical Tools:

SQL, JMeter, Postman, Soap
UI, Kanest, Yest

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and document functional and
  - functional test cases.
• Perform manual testing and support automation testing where possible.
• Contribute to regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure requirements are covered.
• Report, track, and retest defects using standard tools.
• Support continuous improvement of testing processes.
