PUBLIC NOTICE

I publicly announce that, by my order of 31st Oct 2025, an international tender to fill 1 vacancy for the position of Junior Researcher is hereby open for 10 working days following the publication of the present notice at Diário da República [Official Journal]. The stated position will be held under a public service employment contract of specified duration at UNIT 4539 – Centre for Innovative Biomedicine and Biotechnology.

Place of Work: UNIT 4539 – Centre for Innovative Biomedicine and Biotechnology.

Gross monthly wage: €2, 351. 53 (wage level 33, single remuneration table).

Maximum duration: three years, renewable for periods of one year, up to a maximum of six years.

Admission Requirements

Age and health: Applicants must be at least 18 years old, in good health, and meet compulsory vaccination requirements.

Academic qualification: Hold a Ph. D. in the specified scientific area(s) or a correlated one, demonstrating the ability to develop work in the main field(s) of the tender.

Selection Methods and Criteria

Methods: Assessment of scientific background and CV (90%) and interview (10%).

• Scientific performance during the last five years—weight 80%.
• Outreach and management activities—weight 20%.

Final score is calculated as: FS = (ABC × 90%) + (I × 10%).
