The Role

You will underwrite commercial insurance products including PI, Cyber, Management Liability, Property and Liability lines of business, within a highly successful and energized team based in Lisbon. This role is key in driving profitable growth within the Hiscox Ireland business. You will have a strong focus on supporting the continuous development of our digital channel and on delivering a superb service to our broker partners.

What you will be doing:

• Contribute to profitable underwriting in order to achieve the overall Ireland GWP targets both in existing and new business
• Underwrite, price and negotiate accounts consistent with the quality of the risk and according to the company's strategy and guidelines
• Develop new relationships and maintain existing relationships with brokers
• Maintain excellent service standards
• Actively drive the service on our digital trading platforms
• Effectively negotiate with both internal and external parties including identified points of contact within a brokerage
