This role is key in driving profitable growth within the Hiscox Ireland business. You will have a strong focus on supporting the continuous development of our digital channel and on delivering a superb service to our broker partners. **What you will be doing:*** Contribute to profitable underwriting in order to achieve the overall Ireland GWP targets both in existing and new business* Underwrite, price and negotiate accounts consistent with the quality of the risk and according to the company’s strategy and guidelines* Develop new relationships and maintain existing relationships with brokers* Maintain excellent service standards* Actively drive the service on our digital trading platforms* Effectively negotiate with both internal and external parties including identified points of contact within a brokerage* Maintain profitability of the account by making sound and consistent individual underwriting decisions**Person Specification*** Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in English. * Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a related role* Outgoing, driven, high attention to detail and results focused mentality* Ability to identify business needs* Strong understanding of basic sales principles, negotiation skills and demonstrate a competitive drive;* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently in a collaborative environment* Innate service focus which enables one to effectively interact with all levels of internal and external customers and partners* Demonstrable drive,
