Role Description This is a
- time remote position for a K–12 Online Teacher at Legacy Online School. Teachers are responsible for creating engaging,
- aligned lessons, conducting interactive virtual classes, and supporting students’ academic and personal growth.

Teachers collaborate with academic advisers, instructional consultants, and school leadership to ensure that every student receives an individualized and enriching educational experience.

Depending on qualifications and assignment, teachers may serve in core academic areas (e. g. , English, Math, Science, Social Studies) or in specialized disciplines and grade levels (Elementary, Middle, or High School).

Key Responsibilities Deliver
- quality virtual instruction aligned with the school’s curriculum and learning goals.

Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) when applicable.

Create and adapt engaging educational materials for online delivery.

Track and assess student progress through consistent feedback and communication.

Participate in
- wide professional development, curriculum planning, and student support initiatives.

Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating online learning environment.

Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to extracurricular or enrichment programs when appropriate.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred).

Proven experience in online or virtual teaching environments.

Strong expertise in subject matter (e. g. , Science, Math, English, Social Studies, or Elementary Education).

Knowledge of lesson planning , assessment strategies , and student differentiation .

Experience with IEP development and implementation (for applicable roles).

Excellent communication , organization , and collaboration skills.

Comfort with educational technology platforms and online classroom management.

Compensation and Career Growth Base Rate: $10/hour (entry-level).
