This role in summary:
As a Key Account Manager in the chains channel, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, building lasting relationships, and achieving sales targets within key customers. Reporting directly to the Modern Channel Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to develop and maximize sales of Beko brands products in Portugal.
Your responsibilities will include:
Driving Sales Growth
- Develop, initiate, and manage sales strategies to drive growth in Beko product sales within key accounts.
- Identify and secure key accounts, introducing our brands in new strategic customers.
- Create innovative value propositions that not only meet but exceed annual sales targets and budgets.
Account Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key
- makers within each account HQs and stores.
- Collaborate closely with product managers to organize relevant training on key products at both local and central levels.
- Work alongside various departments, including product teams, sales admin, supply chain, and service, to ensure seamless account management.
Strategic Planning and Execution
- Review and analyse sales performance on a monthly basis, proactively introducing action plans to achieve targets.
- Manage the overall product mix, optimizing profit opportunities across different categories and price points while expanding the brand’s physical
- up in stores
- Develop and execute focused promotional activities, allocating budget resources effectively.
Communication and Reporting
- Provide individual customer reports to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Regularly update line managers on performance, plans, and objectives through organized meetings.
- Contribute to
- term plans, budgeting, and forecasting processes using ERP tools for reporting and performance tracking.
Required experience:
Professional Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in White or Brown Goods, Electrical Consumer Durables, or a related industry, preferable on Chains accounts.
- Proven leadership qualities, inspiring and
- oriented.
- Track record of managing key customer and distributor relationships across a
- channel distribution territory.
Communication and Relationship-building
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and
- building skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in influencing stakeholders at multiple
- making levels.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
Business Acumen
- Strong commercial acumen and business awareness.
Technical Skills
- PC literacy, including proficiency in MS Office Applications and ERP systems (preferably SAP)
