We are looking for a kitchen assistant to join us at The Detox Company, a luxury wellness brand producing cleanse programmes,
- pressed juices, wellness shots, almond blends and soups. This role has a strong potential of growth to develop into head of our kitchen. We are looking for a candidate who wants to develop and grow with us. To start with, candidates should have basic kitchen knowledge, a strong willingness to learn, a great sense of responsibility and organisation, and a positive, proactive attitude. Roles and Responsibilities
Preparation and packaging of products
Kitchen support and ingredient preparation
Ensuring the quality of the products and ingredients used
Ensuring food safety and general safety controls
Keeping preparation areas, work surfaces, and kitchen utensils clean
Profile
Education and/or experience in the kitchen (preferred)Knowledge of English (essential)Energetic with the ability to take initiative
Responsible and professional attitude
Attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure
Good communication and interpersonal skills
We Offer
A
- time employment contract with fixed working days:
- Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 6pm
Appropriate remuneration for the role and experience
Initial and ongoing training
