We are looking for a kitchen assistant to join us at The Detox Company, a luxury wellness brand producing cleanse programmes,
- pressed juices, wellness shots, almond blends and soups.



This role has a strong potential of growth to develop into head of our kitchen. We are looking for a candidate who wants to develop and grow with us.

To start with, candidates should have basic kitchen knowledge, a strong willingness to learn, a great sense of responsibility and organisation, and a positive, proactive attitude.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Preparation and packaging of products
• Kitchen support and ingredient preparation
• Ensuring the quality of the products and ingredients used
• Ensuring food safety and general safety controls
• Keeping preparation areas, work surfaces, and kitchen utensils clean

• Skills in Food Preparation and Cooking
• Understanding of Hygiene standards in a kitchen environment
• Experience in the Food & Beverage industry
• Strong Customer Service skills
• Ability to work in a
  - paced environment and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
• Knowledge of English (essential)
• Attention to detail
  
  

• A
  - time employment contract with fixed working days:
  
  - Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays or Friday 9am to 6pm
• Appropriate remuneration for the role and experience
• Initial and ongoing training
