We are looking for a Kubernetes Infrastructure Engineer who is willing to relocate to join our Client’s team in Brussels, Belgium.

Eligibility:

Candidate must have resided in Portugal for at least the past 5 years.

Portuguese citizenship is mandatory.

Candidate must be prepared to obtain EU security clearance upon accepting the job offer (with Hexa coordination).

Key Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and manage highly available, secure, and scalable Kubernetes clusters (on-premises or cloud).

Containerize applications and support deployment, optimizing resource utilization and performance.

Implement Infrastructure as Code (Ia
C) using Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.

Set up and maintain monitoring/logging solutions (e. g. , Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

Analyze and optimize cluster performance; identify and resolve bottlenecks.

Enforce Kubernetes security best practices and respond to security threats.

Troubleshoot complex issues related to Kubernetes and containerized applications.

Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to promote Kubernetes best practices.

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years in Kubernetes service management in production environments.

Proven track record in deploying and managing
- scale Kubernetes clusters.

Technical Skills:

Containerization: Strong understanding of Docker, Podman, and orchestration principles.

Ia
C Tools: Proficient with Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.

Cloud Platforms: Experience with AWS (EKS), Azure (AKS), GCP (GKE).

Virtualization: Familiarity with VMware, Microsoft.

Monitoring & Logging: Skilled with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.

CI/CD & Git
Ops: Experience with HELM, Argo
CD, and Git
Ops workflows.

Storage Solutions: Knowledge of S3, Min
IO, Nooba, and
- defined storage.

Scripting: Proficient in Bash or Python for automation tasks.

Service Meshes: Experience with Istio or Linkerd.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and
- solving abilities.

Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies.
