As a Kubernetes Platform Engineer

You will have a significant impact on the next generation of the ‘Miles Enterprise Suite’—our software that encompasses
- and
- office functions for automotive finance, leasing, fleet, and mobility management. It consists of two parts: the ‘Core, ’ an ERP software, and the complementary ‘Microservices Platform’ that adds extra functionalities and portals interacting with the Core.

Your focus will be on the Microservices Platform, specifically on researching and implementing new tools and technologies to improve its setup.

Your Responsibilities

• Research and experiment with modern technologies in this area to drive continuous improvement.
• Set up Kubernetes Clusters through Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / Ansible).
• Automate deployments using the Git
  Ops approach.
• Educate colleagues, both within the team and in project teams implementing the software.

Your Skills and Experience

Since the landscape is constantly evolving, the ability to adapt and learn new technologies quickly is crucial.

Additionally, collaboration and communication skills are key, as you will work closely with your team, IT, and security to ensure alignment across all stakeholders.

What else is expected

• A few years of experience with some of the following technologies:
  • Kubernetes (Azure Kubernetes Service or similar Cloud Kubernetes Services like EKS or GKE)
  • Terraform
  • Ansible
  • Jenkins, Git
    Hub Actions
  • Git
    Ops: Flux
    CD
  • Helm & Kustomize
  • Monitoring solutions: Prometheus, Grafana, Fluent
    Bit & Loki
• Knowledge of database systems such as Postgre
  SQL and Oracle
• Familiarity with Kafka, HVR, JBoss, Java, Python, and Bash is a plus
• Experience (through work or internships) with at least one public cloud provider (Azure, AWS, etc. )
• Fluent in English; any additional language is a plus
