About The Job
The KYC Coordinator’s main mission is to oversee the KYC (Know Your Client) journey of client onboarding and recertification, acting as the primary point of contact for KYC and account opening matters for a designated Business Group or Territory.
Your Main Activities Are
- Ensure the client receives the highest standard KYC experience based on governance, business priorities, and operational capacity, managing and optimizing the pipeline within a business group and synchronizing next review dates of legal entities.
- Confirm with Business the entities to recertify or terminate, including existing and anticipated secondary sites, and inform other legal entities of trigger events.
- Ensure KYC Data Officers utilize all available sources for document collection during gap analysis.
- Collect remaining documents from clients, including local secondary sites, and share reusable documents or waivers with other legal entities for future onboarding or recertification.
- Communicate onboarding and recertification status to stakeholders and clients, acting as the liaison between the client, business, and internal functions, ensuring connectivity to client applications when onboarding clients.
- Assist the Business with KYC-related tasks, handle inquiries promptly, and seek continuous improvements based on client feedback.
- Coordinate the entire KYC process from request initiation to validation, including joint decisions within legal entities when needed.
- Manage escalations related to blocks, facilitate resolution, oversee involved teams, and ensure KPIs such as lead time are met.
- Coordinate with secondary site stakeholders to address their specificities and support the Primary Site Senior KYC Officer during validation.
- Oversee the onboarding process, including account opening, with relevant stakeholders.
Profile And Skills To Success
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Business Management.
- Up to 2 years of experience in Project Management, Banking, Financial Operations, or Client Management.
- Fluency in English and strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Power
Point. - Excellent organizational skills and ability to synthesize information.
- Client-focused mindset with proactive anticipation of business needs.
