KYC Analyst
Ebury has high standards when it comes to working with clients. We need to make sure that the clients we serve and the transactions we carry out respect all the legal, regulatory, and ethical standards. This involves performing thorough screening during client onboarding and transaction monitoring. And this is where you come in!
Role Purpose
The Analyst is responsible for conducting onboarding reviews in line with current policies to ensure all Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements are fulfilled. You will work closely with the sales team to provide a smooth onboarding experience while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Analyze customer relationships, documentation, activity patterns, and transactions to detect potential suspicious activity or inconsistencies with the client’s profile.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislative and regulatory standards, as well as internal processes and procedures.
- Identify clients posing higher risk due to red flags or other
- risk triggers. - Resolve

- day issues during the CDD process and escalate complex challenges appropriately. - Complete assigned tasks efficiently and within deadlines.
- Communicate task status to colleagues and managers, escalating problems as needed.

Desired Experience
- University degree.
- 1-2 years of experience in a KYC role.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English; additional languages are a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in desktop office software such as MS Office, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Google Suite.
- Experience working in a

- paced operational environment, with the ability to manage performance and targets effectively.
